Guler Nazlivatan – Practice Manager

Guler has been in the dental industry for over 6 years. She has a huge amount of experience in delivering high levels of dental care, which she uses to ensure that patients receive a personal and timely service. She has a warm and welcoming personality which the patients have come to love.

In her spare time Guler keeps up-to-date with her professional development. She is always keen to develop her skills and knowledge to assist the dentists and staff members she works with. This enables her to ensure customer care and satisfaction.

Guler joined the practice in 2016.

Aneesa Patel (BDS). GDC no; 192176 – Dentist

Aneesa has been with us almost 5 years and works 4 days a week at Barking Dental Practice. She qualified in 2010 from the University of Liverpool and completed vocational training from the North West Deanery. She now practices general dentistry in London where she has settled.

Aneesa enjoys the variety of general dentistry and is particularly interested in preventive dentistry. Prevention is better than cure, so conveying knowledge to patients regarding dental health of the upmost importance.

Aneesa works well with children and has been complimented on several occasions on her ability to treat them, especially calming them down on their first visits. She believes that good communication and empathy with patients is key to help put them at ease. Having a background in community dentistry, Aneesa can manage nervous patients well and she will always do her utmost to ensure your visits are as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Committed to postgraduate education, Aneesa regularly attends courses and strives to ensure that her patients benefit from the most up-to-date techniques in dentistry. Aneesa also has future plans to branch out into alternative analgesia techniques, such as sedation to deal with anxious patients.

Aneesa joined the practice in 2013.

Sarah Sheikh (BDS). GDC no; 212817 – Dentist

Sarah Sheikh graduated in 2011 from Barts and The London Dental Hospital in Whitechapel. Since then she has been working in both the Private and NHS sector. She is very professional and keen to deliver excellent dentistry to all her patients. She is friendly with a positive demeanour and has made even the most anxious patients feel more calm and relaxed. Sarah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially providing continuity of care for her patients.

Sarah joined the practice in 2016.

Preyesh Patel (BDS), GDC NO; 251510 - Dentist

Dr Preyesh Patel qualified from Kings College London in 2014. He later undertook various courses to enhance his skills in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry.

He actively participates in mentoring and training young Dental Students to pass their dental foundation training interviews and has co-authored publications to aid them. He is focused on providing you with gentle, pain-free dental care in a relaxed setting. He will always take the time to listen to your concerns, ensure you are happy with your treatment plan and that you feel comfortable and in control of how things are progressing.

Aside from his passion for creating beautiful smiles, Dr Patel enjoys going to the gym and is an avid swimmer. He plans to carry out charity dental work in remote regions across the world in the near future. Preyesh joined the practice in 2017.
